Hamlin Speedway 2024 is going to be a barnburner! With nineteen events scheduled from April 27th to September 28th with a closed week added each month. This change gives everyone more options. This will be our 19th season promoting and running Hamlin Speedway.
The season SCHEDULE lists each event by week with the special of the night plus the General Admission offerings. All six divisions race every event:
- Junior Slingshots,
- All Star Slingshots,
- Rookie Wingless 600 Sprints,
- Wingless 600 Sprints,
- Stage One Modifieds,
- Xcel Chassis 600 Modifieds
Special appearances by:
7. MASON DIXON 270 Racing Series on May 18th
8. 125/4 STROKE MICROS on June 1st and August 3rd
Each event or week has a SPECIAL by division. The SPECIAL includes, and is not limited to, the $500 or $300 to Wins, Tours, Nationals, Speedweeks, plus Junior Slingshot Driver Introductions & Rookie Wingless 600 Introductions.
A GAMBLERS Option has been added for the division SPECIAL of the week. The April 27th opener has all divisions racing plus the Wingless 600 Sprints Special $500 to Win. This Special is a $500 to Win with 20 or more cars entered OR $300 to win with less than 20. The GAMBLERS option is available to all drivers racing this special who believe they can win, by paying an extra $50 to double the winning payout ($500 to $1000 OR $300 to $600). The GAMBLERS $50 must be paid at registration to be eligible and only doubles the Winner’s pay.
The GENERAL ADMISSION prices are Adults $10, Seniors $5, and Under 6 Free. This admission is the concession area and grandstands only. A weekly GA Special is offered, listed in last column, include GA $5 All Ages, Seniors $3, and Pack the Car $25 (max 10 people in per car).
New this season is a monthly FANFEST for the general admission spectators. This allows the spectators to go into the pits FANFEST area only to gather driver autographs, merchandise, meet and greet, and special giveaways. FANFEST is scheduled from 3-4:30pm prior to the drivers meeting. The participating drivers will be the previous events feature winners. They will push down to FANFEST area for the fans to meet and greet and share autographs. This is a great opportunity for the fans to get involved, drivers to share merchandise, autographs, and promote your sponsors. This is a win-win for everyone so please make the most of it!
BUG DAY is Saturday April 20th for safety inspections, pit spots, and open practice from 2-6pm. Please have the Driver Profile/Tax Info Sheet and the annual Minor Release form ready. Gates open at noon.
